I'm pursuing physics because I wanted to go for further higher studies in the quantum field, which is something fantasizing me from so long and for me IISER was the best choice for it that's why I choose IISER Mohali for my studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Professors here are highly qualified, PhD holders and post-doctorates. Most of them set good question papers, and their teaching is also good. The course becomes highly relevant after you choose your major. In the first two years, the course prepares you for your future years. Students can be industry-ready also.
Placement Experience
No placement but a lot of job opportunities for you after your MS. Teaching line is the best job after MS and students of iiser also get very good p[ay for teaching jobs. Students also go for civil services also but mainly go for Phds
College Events
Events, fests and extracurricular activities organized here are excellent. The campus crowd is also excellent in all the events and fests organized here. IISER Mohali has its own annual fest in the month of March by the name of INSOMNIA.
Campus Life
Lecture halls are air-conditioned and enabled with Wi-Fi facility. Our college has an excellent library, which is well maintained. Library is extraordinary with 7 floors and a huge collection, consisting of books of various departments (Physical, Chemical, Biological and Mathematical Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences)
