Life at MNNIT.

The college management is decent and barring a few rules like no drinking inside campus and no entry after 11:30 pm, the students are mostly satisfied with the management. The sports complex is awesome and has all the modern equipment and facilities such as full-size swimming pool, tennis court, squash court, to name a few. Institute also provides free bus services from campus to city every hour for students. Apart from activities organized by the students, the management also organizes few events such as Mahashivratri and Janmashtami celebrations.

I took AIEEE , because i am Interested in Electronics. Interested in Satellite Communication. That is why I took Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Course Curriculum is good regarding electronics.It also includes many courses of Electrical Engineering like Control Systems, Electrical Machines and Power Electronics.Subjects concerning basic Computer Engineering knowledge like Data Structures and C are also included.For Final year , professional electives are also very relevant.Only drawback is that latest technologies like 4G are not incorporated in the syllabus.

Almost all software companies (except few) allow ECE students. Internship season (summers as we call it) was good and saw many companies fighting to grab the zero-day spot to grab the best minds. Stipend ranged from 5000 to 80000 per month depending on the company and the job requirements.U can get pre-fianl year internship in amazing software companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Ebay, Snapdeal, and many other leading firms. Core companies included Qualcomm, Airtel, Texas Instruments.Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, etc.

Placement season was interesting and was divided into 2 parts. First part was mainly for experienced people more than 2 yrs work experience and other was for freshers or up to 2 years of experience. High profile companies like BCG, HUL, Nestle, Deutsche Bank, American Express, etc visitied the campus. IT companies were the maximum in terms of numbers as well as recruitment. Even the banker's bank, RBI, visited and created a huge competition among the candidates. The average salary was around 11.8 LPA and max. domestic salary went up to 32 LPA.

We celebrated Diwali, Holi, Durga Puja, Ganpati Puja, Christmas, Onam, Pongal, Lohri and many other festivals very enthusiastically. For management festivals, the major one is 'Ahvan' which is a huge event and most of the participants are from top across the country. Official cultural festival named 'Mridang' is also a famous event. Level of each of these fests is okay okay.

The tuition fee was little bit high I think they will charge very big for every things like for an ID card they will charge us 1000 bucks. That's too high I think like they have many fees i was not in hostel, I stayed with my relative so I have no idea about hostel facilities but some of my friends told me that the fees of the hostel is very high.

Yeah actually above 75% college provide scholarship but i did not avail because i had admitted recently it give you regular chance to prove yourself by different and various type of exam mode of scholarship also.

The gender ratio of boys:girls is about 8:1 labs are good enough for learning though the equipments are outdated and old.Campus Life is very enjoyable though there are some restrictions for the better of students only owing to situations prevailing in the city Allahabad. Allahabad is not the city you see urself in if you want to enjoy your college life night life is zero. Various workshops and events are organised from time to time in short, u will never be bored.

I will give 2.5 out of 5. Mess is good not better, no tradition to serve non-veg food in the mess. Rooms are big but there are four students in each room, facilities are good, big play grounds and parks as well paid parking. Hostels are also expensive and they collect money for semester but at the end of semester you need to completely vacant the hostel book for new semester till you need to arrange outside or go home.

For my batch there wasn't a senior which i think was the best no intro session or like u say ragging all the senior students are working in management positions and the network is very strong as the college has backing of around 48 years of batches now.

There is no hectic schedule but you have to study to clear the all papersthere is semester system in yearly 4 times exam 2 mid semester for PG courses no mid semester MCA there is duration of course is 3 years in the quizzes marks is counts best of your two scores after that final exams passing marks is 60% 40% marks from internal exam there is grading system. Course structure was average but it's good who want to make their career in teaching field or research field. Exam structure was too good they will arranged in very well or unique style .

About Faculty of our college is the faculty are well qualified. Most of them have finished their PG and half of the faculty are pursuing their Ph.D. The faculty drive the students towards the practical knowledge rather than the book stufff. It really maintains the zeal and enthusiasm in students towards the real life except of few all are really total waste of time and money. There are faculty available and they only want to waste our time as they know as open their mouth you will come to know how intelligent they are need to change the faculties.
