Remarks

I did not get a seat at BMSCE due to certain circumstances and the only other 'top' college that had a seat left in CSE was DSCE

Course Curriculum Overview

It's trash as we don't get to select our own subjects. For example I can't choose my electives and whatnot. Faculties are helpful but in first year they didn't really care about online classes and didn't conduct half the remaining classes.

According to the teachers and other staff, the placement percentage is really high. 96-98% (I may be wrong, do go to the website and check if necessary)

College Events

Our own college students don't attend our own college fests, so one can imagine

Campus Life

Can't say as I'm not in the sports team. They don't fund our cultural team (I was in the fashion team and we had to buy props with our own money). There's no wifi, we can barely use our phones on campus. Library is decent, we get the textbooks we need. Computer labs feel outdated but they work fine

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

Other colleges were not chosen as my rank wasn't suffecient enough. Comparitively to other entrance exams the best colllege with my rank would have been BMS. Overall summary of my college in Bengaluru.

I gave first preference to RVCE, but as my rank was less compared to cut off, I was unable to get a seat in the college and I ended up getting the seat in BMSCE which was my 2nd preference.
