Vishal's Review On Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College Of Engineering - [MVGRCE], Vizianagaram

We got this admission through EAMCET entrance exam. I scored around 110/160 and ranked 30,000 basically I was interested in Computer Science / Information Technology and based on my score & ranking, getting Computer Science in good college is difficult. Hence I decided to get in good college for Information Technology course and if we analyze, MVGR is best in Vizianagaram district and even better college in & around Visakhapatnam district. Hence I decided to choose MVGR :)And even I was bit influenced by my cousins too.

Basically course structure is extraordinary.It covers end-end related to computer science.Main thing will be exactly, what we get thought & what we learn.This decides our knowledge.

As far I am aware there are no direct internship programs even though college is associated with few companies through which we can get an internship opportunity. When I did my internship program, I was not offered any stipend.May be it is improved in this course of time.

During 2011, placements were not so strong only TCS is the major recruitment happened and next to TCS, some pool campus recruitment's happened but apart from this, there were nothing much happened to discuss 128 are recruited through TCS. Package offered was 3.3 Lac/Year and apart from this, there was nothing much happened to share. We need to check recent pass-out's opinion on this.

Event celebrations are really good in MVGR we had lot's of fun during our time, Aadhritha was one of the major event even sports are also encouraged equally on over all basis, we can consider it as very good.

During 2011, fee structure is controlled by government.Hence there is nothing much college can control on this but management quota seats were bit expensive college makes money here but now, as far i heard, fee is increased a lot it seems to be par than feasible hence we can consider it as expensive.

Basically, scholarships were provided by government itself hence there was nothing scholarship/loan facility were provided by college but college management used to support students in proving those scholarships which were provided by government hence there is a clear development opportunity in this area for the college management.

Campus life is very good gender ratio is not in the hands of college right.It all depends on merit of students best students irrespective of gender will get an opportunity hostel parties are relatively good workshops and cultural events are nice, college used to conduct multiple events for this.There was no partiality on gender and race coming to religion there was nothing much differ, But there was some soft corner towards Rajahs cast politics ans economics wise, it was so strong nothing much negative, it was good.

I am not aware of girls hostel during our time it was managed by college management it self i am not sure, still it continues or not.I hope recent pass-out's can comment on this coming to men's hostel, frankly speaking it is relatively nice we should not expect HI-FI maintenance rooms were good, it was 3 sharing.Food is kind of manageable every one says, this/that college hostel food is best but frankly speaking it will not be true hence we should expect only kind of manageable food during our time, fee structure is 30 know it would have varied a lot on over all basis, it is kind of manageable and nice.

It was really fun had very good time alumni network is so strong seniors were good I am happy about this.

Exams were very strictly conducted management is very genuine about this.Labs were very good in this college especially it was very best at Mechanical department labs are neither completely chill and nor hectic it is perfect what we learn in labs plays the major role for our confidence build up i totally support MVGR on this point.

Faculty is relatively good and few faculty are really good and inspiring.
