My maternal uncle is a professor at IISER Mohali teaching biology to students and he is also a scientist who did his lost doc from MIT and he is ideal for me and that's why I chose IISER MOHALI. He motivated me towards Research.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently in my third year of 5 year programme. I am having my major in Biology. For first two years I studied all Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths and in 3rd year it is allowed to choose a particular subject as a major. Faculties are very good in teaching and in lab work as actually they are the scientists.
Placement Experience
IISER MOHALI alumni is in every best University of the world whether it is MIT, UCI, Yale, MaxPlanck etc doing their PhD and Post doc from there. Many students of our college are in public services and doing a government job. Some are teachers at coaching centre like Allen, Aakash, Bansal, FIITJEE etc.
College Events
As I have completed my two years at IISER Mohali so I have attended and enjoyed all the events which are organised in IISER every year. There is an annual fest INSOMNIA in the college which is actually a large fest in which best musician, dancers and comedian are invented. Actually it is a 3 day event in which college students from Chandigarh and Mohali take part.
