Entrance Preview
Through Karnataka CET I opted electronics and communication engineering because it is one of the most top branch and also from the placements point of view.
Internships Opportunities
I went to Ericson for the internship and the experience was very good and got to know the basics of some tools like main frame and all stipend was around 8k and the period of internship is 3 months.
Placement Experience
Placements was really very good and the companies that came to placements are, Broadcom:10.75Lpa, Commvault 5Lpa, Cisco : 8.9Lpa, Akamai:6Lpa, Tesco: 7Lpa, like this almost 74 companies came.
College Events
The name of our college day is TeckNIEks and this will celebrated all branches together for 3 daysIn all the 3 days we will enjoy like anything by participating in the events and during evening cultural programs will be thereWith addition to this we will celebrate branch wise also and the fest name of our ECEE is NIEcECEfest.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am pure general merit student so for me there was no scholarship but for SC/ST they have some good schemes of loan and also the scholarship as well.
Campus Life
During college fest they will organise so many events regarding national level paper presentation robothanDuring that I won 2 nd place in robothan.
Hostel Facilities
I was a localitie I don't know that much about it as per my friends experience it is good only and they will charge 20k per year including food facilities also.
Alumni/Alumna
It is ok that's it some time they will organise get together events but I never went so I don't know that much about it And their is a separate department in our college called NIE crest for alumini people.
Exam Structure
Since our college is a autonomous college the exams were chilled out only since papers will be prepared by our lectures only so it's more than enough to study the notes provided by our lectures.
Faculty
In our college all the faculty have minimum of 10years of experience hence the standard of teaching is also really good coming to the electives option we will start after 5th sem and the subjects for electives like C++, ARM processor, image processing,OFC etc.
