Remarks
The first thing is it's a good NIT and they are good for engineering compared to many other colleges. The standards are atleast on par with some IIT's. So the location is also good. Jalandhar is a good industrial city and I can get more exposure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is always upto date and the curriculum is also fine for an engineer. Faculties are also helpful and caring. Academics are also good on par with some standard colleges. There much to explore upon their own interest.
Placement Experience
Overall the placements are good. Companies like Microsoft, Samsung, Adobe comes to hire CSE and ECE students for highest packages which is around 40 Lacs. There are also so many popular companies for all the branches. So there is no need to worry about the placements. Especially for textile technology there are good amount of companies and placements.
College Events
The campus life is really good. You are free to do what you love and enjoy. You can explore a lot outside. There are so many events you can take part of. All of them confines to your self interest.You can learn music, participate in sports etc.
Campus Life
The campus is wide spread in 180 acres. It would take atleast an hour to roam the whole campus. The sports facilities are good and you can play whenever you want. You can roam around the campus anytime you want. But there is a restriction for girls. Library is also available which is of two storeys
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are average as they are old and are continuously remodeled. There are internet facilities such as Lan and WiFi. The speed is really good and each person can get 4gb af day per day which is a lot to spend. There are badminton courts, volleyball courts, gardens, table tennis rooms, TV rooms etc where you can rejuvenate.
