College days.

The management needs to be more organized there are a lot of loopholes when we question them we do not have clear answerso n the contrary some are really helpful and provide information correctly.

Entrance exam was an internal college exam help by Neville wadias college of commerce. The reason to choose MPM was to get a masters degree in HR also because MBA was too expensive.

The course Curriculum was as follows 2 years course 4 semesters 1 year 2 semesters time duration 6 months each semester internal and external examination at the end of each semester each theory course in each Semester will have 70 marks for external examination and 30 marks for internal examination. A field work report (two copies) based on the observation of the working personnel department has to be submitted to the Institute before the 30th Spetember of the first semester. This Report will be assessed by the Institute's faculty and will carry 100 marks. A Project report based on summer training in any organisation for a minimum of 6 weeks is to be prepared and two copies of the reports are to be submitted to the Institute before 30th November of third Semester. The report carries 60 marks and the viva voce based on it carries 40 marks.

Our college just provided us with college letters no internships were offeredWe had to find our own internship and only the lucky ones got stipend most of us had done it free of cost. Nonetheless it was quite an experience as the college was supportive in case of attendance.

Placements are not good in Neville wadias college of commerce after completing your Masters you are offered only 1.5 to 2L P.A by the consultancies or small firms that come to the college it is better to have work experience to do such courses or else they don't add up to much.

In the 2 years of college days there were 3 to 4 events held at our college there are seminars held with teachers across the globe entire class was taken to sanskruti with foreign expats to show a little Indian culture since we had very limited time we never got a chance to have intra college competitions.

Since it is a masters in personnel management and not masters in business administration the course fee structure was feasible examination for 4 semesters fees from the university the course will cost less than 1 lakh.

No neville wadia does not provide any scholarships to masters of personnel management students the course costs approximately 80,000.

There were events such as infinity and Gusto where one could show talent but it was in ness wadia not in neville wadias sometimes we had debates internally on our course matters or motivational speakers were called for seminars.

The college provides hostel accommodation in the premises for boys and girls hostels are equipped with all modern amenities conveniences and comforts. The rooms are well ventilated and are suitably furnished. A new hostel is constructed with independent facility block containing separate mess and reading halls for boys and girls the old girlsﾒ hostel can accommodate 91 girls, new hostel can avail accommodation to 352 boys and 264 girls. Round the clock security is provided to both hostels and it is under CCTV surveillance.

We are connected with college seniors or the alumni via social media such as facebook there is not much interaction during the course as time is a restriction.

Faculty of the college was quite mixee we did not have a smartclass with high fundoo education but decent teachers to come and explain and clear doubts some teachers just spoke in marathi after realizing we had foreign students they started teaching in english.
