Remarks
I liked it. It was close. It was cheap. It was ranked good. The course I was interested in was highly rated and it had eminent and esteemed professors. The campus was huge - lush with greenery and filled with wildlife. What was not to like. Except for the city. But I overlooked that. Please don't overlook the city your college is situated in. Especially if the campus is in the middle of the city. Anyway, I like my college. It is sasta sundar tikau.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's good enough. Outdated, but builds a solid foundation. The academic load is optimum as the classes are divided well between the days of the week. Faculty are mostly helpful and eager to help and nurture students.
Placement Experience
Only a few courses in my department offer placements (namely Computer Science, Geology, Geophysics) but the placement opportunities for eligible students are ample. The placement cell works through the year to bring loads of companies to the college and they offer good money.
College Events
IIT being inside the campus, there's no shortage of events and extracurricular activities. Fests and events are frequently organised which help break the monotonicity of a student's life. The general campus life is also quiet fun and fulfilling.
