Remarks
Good things- The faculty is really nice and supportive. There is not much work load for the students. Attendance is not much of an issue. The timings are superb.Bad things- The extra-curricular activities needs a LOT of improvement. The grounds need to be developed. More extensive curriculum should be made so that the students have enough knowledge when they go out in the real world.
Entrance Preview
Honestly, I only took the university entrance test namely, CET (Common Entrance Test) and scored rank no. 95. I didn't know much about this course when i gave the entrance but after reading about it on the internet, i found out that it will be an interesting one for me. Also, I did not have many options for college after my 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview
As a 4th year student, I now realise that the course curriculum is not adequate. It leaves most of the knowledge gaining part on the research work done by the student. The faculty on the other hand is wonderful. Very well experienced teachers and are mostly available for interaction after class.
Internships Opportunities
I have completed 5 internships of which 2 of them were in the Supreme court and Delhi High Court, respectively the others were in law firms, Kochhar & Co. (Delhi) and twice in Vaish Associates (Delhi) when at the other places no stripend was awarded, Vaish was generous in this matter we were given about INR 2500 for a 30 day internship.
Placement Experience
I don't know much about placements from out college but as far as i have heard, it's not something to rely upon for a final year student.
College Events
My college hosts a Youth Fest and its annual cultural fest, ABHINAY. The youth fest includes introduction of freshers along with dance and play, etc. Abhinay on the other hand includes Mr. and Ms. Abhinay contest, Fashion show, Dance contest and many other things over the period of 3 days
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college hostel is located right next to our college building. All rooms are sharing with around 3-4 people in each room. I can't' rate the mess food but i've heard that its decent enough.There are abundant amount of pg's and hostels nearby with pg rates starting from INR 2000/month with all the basic amenities.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't heard about any good scholarships.
Campus Life
Campus life is good all students get a chance to interact with each other regardless of their gender, race, religion, sexual orientation or economic status. Extracurricular activities include a pool table, TT table and a gymnasium on the top floor of our college. Other activities include inter-college sports competitions includeing TT, soccer, cricket, volleyball.Being a law college, it also actively takes part in Moot Court Competitions all over India as well as International Moot Court Competitions. It also is the host to P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights.
Alumni/Alumna
I had fun with the seniors I interacted with. one of them was also from the same school i was from so that helped a lot. I, his friends and other seniors were all fun people to hang out with and were also helpful in case of need.
