Remarks

I chose this college because I got few recommendations and it's autonomous college, I always wanted to be in an autonomous university than Bangalore university. And the placements in this college is good, there are very reputed companies coming in for placements so that's my main reason of joining this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

About the course curriculum, I would say it's good and relevant, academics is also good, we have extra curricular activities and such, we have events coming up every month, guest lectures which provides a good exposure for the students, and faculty is good but can improve more. And honestly this college is a little biased too, they prefer Mallu (malyali) students over other students.

Internships Opportunities

I have done my Marketing and sales internship from My Captain for a period of one month and it was stipend based scholarship.

Placement Experience

4

There are many MNC companies visited as well as other reputed companies, the Alumni has a good network for job referrals and such. The procedure - first the company will give a Job Description (JD) and if a student fulfills all the criteria then they can get an opportunity to be placed in that company, you'll first have an aptitude test, second stage is Group Discussion, third is one more test ( this is incase of few companies) and lastly interview. And every stage has an elimination round. After the interview the job offers will be sent to the selected students who have cleared it.

College Events

4

College timings are really hectic, many students have class from 9-4:30 and it's too much sometimes, we even have classes like Club Activity, Current Affairs which is enjoyable. We have extra curricular activities like Yoga, music classes, computer classes, we even have foreign language classes provided by the college, football, throwball, volleyball coaching, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarship to students who score really good as well for those who are in need on financial support. The name of the Scholarship is Kristu Jayanti Scholarship (KJS) scheme.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is good but it should be more big as there are around 5000-7000 students in our college so the infrastructure should be more big than compared to what it is. We have 2 cafeterias, parking lot is spacious, classrooms are good especially In the Admin Block and more over college is advanced in equipments. We even have a gym in college, we have 2 library's which is really good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
