Remarks
Well there was not a single reason to choose IISER Mohali there were a lot of factors. IISER Mohali is at a very nice location and it offers very nice and enjoyful campus life. Faculties and infrastructure of IISER Mohali is very nice. Teachers guidance and personal interest also played a very great role in choosing IISER Mohali.
Course Curriculum Overview
All the faculties are very well educated and have their degrees from best universities of the world. Faculties are just not a teacher they are scientists who are working on their particular field and everyone has their own personal lab and office where students can go and discuss with them about their research and experiments and faculties never deny to students to help also they feel good when someone ask them about their research. If someone is interested to work in their lab then also you can approach the faculties and here also faculties never deny. Faculties are very nice and humble.
Placement Experience
If you want placements direct from campus then IISER Mohali or even any IISER is a bad choice because these are basic science research institute whose main motive is to produce researchers not engineers or entrepreneurs. So, there is no placement cell in the college but there is an Ecell in the college which is also in developing phase and Ecell club has the least participation of students as mainly students are interested in research activities.
College Events
Campus life is one of the most important part of a college students life. Every one wants to enjoy their college life and in IISER Mohali I can proudly say that everyone is enjoying their college life. IISER Mohali's club system organize a lot of activities in a week and a month which includes games, competitions, talks from students and talks from faculties. All national festivals are celebrated. Foundation day is celebrated. There is an annual fest INSOMNIA in the month of March. It is a very large event and biggest event of IISER Mohali.
