Ahmed's Review On Osmania University - [OU], Hyderabad

College is being the most every year and awarded the best college of the year. It's a great achievement that highest number of students get placed every year. I like the way how the management is functioning in a new formate.

I have written GATE. My score was 321. My specialisation, automation and robotic, which is the future of new automated industry and non industrial sector. It's a broad field. Now a days, it is entered into medical science.

As I am a PG student, we had 3 days classes in a week now for coming students, 4 days in a week class starts at 9 AM, to 4 PM we had 6 subjects and 1 practical lab in a semester.

The college gives us opportunity to go for internship none of the company visits the college for internship. The student must approach to them, any company which is suitable to his/her specialisation. A stipend of 5k to 12k will be given based on the performance of the students.

Our college is providing jobs to everyone the college leads every year, giving max number of jobs to students in the state. Many IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgimini etc visit to college every year. There will be special recruitment for the core companies like TATA Motors, Maruthi, L&T etc.

So far, college is organising many events and activities in state as well as national level as a college curriculum. We have participated in state debate programme and got 4th rank among 200 teams. We have participated BAJA, a international programme organised by society of automobile engineering ( SAE ), and got 9th rank.

The college fee is negotiable. For us, it's 15000 per semester. There is 5500 admission fee to be paid once. We must pay a 1000 rs for examination cell every semester. A 1000 rs for library, which is refundable.

The college is giving number of scholarship annually. Some of them are, least income, first ranker girl in department, professor Abid Ali Scholarship for meticulous students etc. This year, I have received Professor Abid Ali Scholarship for securing highest marks in the class.

There is always a good number of projects being done by us. We have participated in many competitions and being in the top list. We organise work shops on various fields like business enterprise, robo race, automobile engine assemble and disassemble etc. Lecture will be given be ALUMNI of the colleges at alumni meet every year.

Campus hostels are good. There are 4 new blocks for girls and ladies. Hostels food is well prepared and it's tasty. For the first year of PG Course, 4 people have to share the room. There will be separate room for each student in 2nd year.

Management is welcoming to its alumni from each department, they are sharing their experience with us and give a guidance. They are well settled and having at top level of private and government industry sectors. It's is a good interaction with them and get a healthy suggestion.

All the exams are held in the campus itself. There are 2 class tests conducted every 45 days in a semester. These exams are carrying 20 marks. The final exam is of 80 marks. The final paper is having 2 sections, one is short questions carrying 2 marks each and second is long questions carrying 15 marks each.

Faculty is highly experienced and expert in their field they have positive response towards us.
