Remarks
I wanted to take Electronics and communication in OIST but at the last minute the college increased their tution fee 40 percent more than we discussed earlier. But as I've submitted 10k as my admission fee I was struck there. I had two choices, 1st withdraw my admission and look for other colleges when almost all colleges seats were full or 2nd take OCT Oriental group's second college and settle for a better stream (IT) with increased fee. And I opted for 2nd choice cause I don't wanted to leave my last choice as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is the one old RGPV curriculum. You don't have to study full year in order to obtain good marks. Just mugup one Shivani before two weeks of exam and you're the topper. Faculties are helpful and good. They'll help you in any issue until it's your fee dues.

Mass recruiter like TCS come every year and place most of the students. Amazon conzigant,Wipro also comes.
College Events
First semester was full college enjoyment, fresher's party, DJ night, Tech fest happens every year. Technical events happens regularly and students take part and also won. No doubt college promotes these events and encourage students to take part in them.
Fees and Financial Aid
College doesn't provide any scholarships from themselves. If you're from quota you have to submit your all documents to college in order to get scholarship via government.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is OK, sports events regularly happens (if you're a hostelite or you won't realise when the selections were completed). library only contains course related books or few magazines, don't expect you'll find Robin Sharma books. CS IT labs are well maintained, I don't even knew there exists a mechanical lab in our college until second semester. There's a shop near the auditorium that provides everything a student needs. Books, pencil shampoo, chocolates you just name, they got everything.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't opted for hostel but my friends are hostelite. Hostel will provide you everything expect good food. Mess food is a problem specially boys hostel mess. You have to bring your sleeping mattress from home. They will provide you your separate bed and table. Going out of the hostel after 8PM is strictly prohibited.
