Pranathi Dabbara's Review On Siddhartha Academy Of Higher Education: SAHE University, Vijayawada

I have opted CSE with my personal interest. Iam always interested in software and coding. The reason why I choose VR Siddhartha is it's placements. There are 100% placements for CSE students i.e. every CSE student will be placed in some company in campus placements. The highest package offered in our campus placements in 2019 was 23 LPA by Amazon, 12 LPA by Microsoft. The average package is 8LPA and the minimum package starts from 2.25LPA.

Our course will get updated with the technologies. When the python became a booming course, that was added in our curriculum. We will be taught 5 programming languages along with DS & algo, OOPS and we will have to take some MOOCS courses and have to complete atleast 3 programming languages through online other than those taught in college. I feel this as the great plan because with this we could become proficient in 8 programming languages by the end of our graduation. The college also provides us Internship opportunities. We have well experienced faculty who did many projects and gained their Phd degree. Among all faculty, Prabhu sir is very very good. Sir teaches us OOPS. Sir will never teach a language as a language but gives us real time problems to solve those.

I'm a second year student. I've a plan about applying internship at deloitte. Three of our 3rd year students got internship in deloitte with 35000 per month for 3 months.

The every student of CSE will be placed in some company. There is 100% placements for CSE in our college. Amazon visited our college and offered 23 LPA for a CSE student, Microsoft recruited 3 students with 12LPA, deloitte with 8 LPA and many other companies. There will be 120 companies visiting our college. Our college alumni is connected well Most of us will be connected through LinkedIn. Our college Placements cell works so hard in such a way that the placements graph never goes down even in recession.

All the events like freshers party, farewell party and other cultural fests will be grandly organised. The first event where will be enjoyed so much is our cultural fests. There will be large participation in our fests. The other management festivals include engineers day, National Sports day, Teachers day, environment day, NSS and etc. We will ha e campus sports day every year where the selected students will have to compete with other colleges and should go to other colleges in other cities to participate and play.

There are lot of scholarships available for us. NSP(National Scholarship Portal) scholarship is a central government Scholarship through which the selected students will be received 10000 per year. NSF Scholarship through which the selected students will be received 20000 per year and many other. Our college also provides us a scholarship for the students who got 3000 and below Eamcet rank. All the information about the scholarships is provided by the college only.

We have a central Library which also includes a digital library. Our library provides not only our subject books but also other higher competitive exam books. It also provides some novels, auto biographies and what not, everything. We will have intra sports day in which students have to compete with other colleges of other cities within the state. Apart from this the National Sports Day will be also celebrated. We have two large play grounds both for boys and girls. Our PET sir encourages us to know and play every sport so that our mind sharpness increases. Our college is wifi is very poor. We get our only one point signal strength. Our CSE labs are very well equipped. All the devices, computers, projectors are very well updated and branded. We will have no issues with the devices in labs.

The first year students hostel block is seperated from the remaining keeping ragging in mind. There is no ragging encouraged either in college or in hostel. Serious action will be taken by the authorities for those who do ragging. The first year's hostel block is average. Two members have to share a room, common bathrooms, dhobi is available very rarely, food is average. We have canteen where we can enjoy food. The hostel seats are few. We have to take hostel seat at the time of our college seat confirmation only. Otherwise the hostel seat might not be available. The hostel seat is given based on the distance of your hometown from Vijayawada. The hostel room rent per year is around 15000/- which has to be paid all at once during hostel seat confirmation. This is only room rent. Mess fee should be paid seperately every month through the bank available in college. So, annually your mess fee will be around 25000.
