Remarks

Being a localite I was very much familiar with this College and the faculty along with the teaching and overall infrastructure. Since I was very interested in the field of civil engineering I felt this will be the good college were I heard good reviews of this college within the radius and luckily I got the same in the counciling after my PU.

Course Curriculum Overview

I can truly say Course offered at our college are best. And reading academic our college stands among top colleges.since it is in non IT sectored area we can expect only few campus and comparatively less industries as it is quite small city. coming to facilitate they are very good and well experienced holding doctorates (PhD) in all the 11 department.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Placement Experience

We do have quite good placements and job connection from our college,every year out of 650 students around 400 get placed in different companies thorough our placement and also some government jobs.

College Events

Campus life we can expect only regarding academic.there is no good scope for social entertainment like music contest,DJ etc. Yest we celebrate all the national and local festivals along with the college fest and events as well both technical and cultural.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
