Remarks

It takes classes regularly and the teachers are quite active. It has so many extra curricular activities like NCC, NSS where students could improve themselves. It also has an amazing Library to study.

I chose this course because it interests me and I like it. The faculty and everything is fine. I don't know much about it but the qualifications might be high as it is a degree level. Their teaching method is great.

I don't have much knowledge about campus placement. I plan to continue MA after I get the degree, if possible.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is not that high compared to other colleges in the state. Students can avail different scholarships like ST scholarship, MOBC scholarship, umbrella scholarship and many more.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is great. The Library, the coffee corner and also girls common room where students can take notes or rest. College week is held once a year where varieties of games and completions were conducted. Basketball training is also there for interested students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms can be choose depending on the person's choice. Rooms attached with toilets with two beds is also available and rooms with 3-4 beds is also available. Electricity and water is 24/7 available. Mess is also adjustable. Monthly fee is only 3500 which is quite affordable and the registration process is simple. The student just need to talk to the hostel concern teacher in the college office. The locality is Laitumkhrah, near the College i.e. Shillong college.

Is UCC good?

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was not my actual mind to opt my major which is history, since it was hard to find open colleges late I had to adjust to it. It might be better since I had a habit of remembering things that are upto no use in the present or maybe better for securing jobs as it is quite in needy in these aspects. It's still not very clear in my part but it partially taught us the basics It gives us 3 hours of time per paper and it's not very different or very hard because it has been always the same pattern along with the portions

What a guy a student said about St. Anthony’s college.

Placement Experience:

The students in there end sems which means the 6th are eligible for the campus placements. I am not sure about the companies that visited exactly but i know that those were some companies with good status level. My plans after getting the degree is that i pursure music as my career as an artist.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quite vast. But it only consisted of three subjects for my batch before NEP. We only have Western music, Hindustani classical music and regional music. But courses with NEP has a lot. And not just focuses on music but extras too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The way they prepare the question is the main reason for me to choose this college. They really provide not only bookish knowledge but also how to deal with the real world. The examination that they conduct are very reasonable because they give us the amount of time that a normal students need to be prepared for an examination. So I think it's quite reasonable and nice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In UCC, earlier my brother and sister also studied and i could not make in Anthony's and Edmund's, so I choose this college. The allocation of college is one the best I have seen so far. It is best for those who want to be something in life because the college is little bit far from the main town and the local near this college also not allow any consumption of alcohol, drug, weed etc in the village. They even not allowed to sell them. I like this college as it is. So I don't want to comment on the improvements. The timing odlf exams is similar with other colleges, 3 hours.

Union Christian College in-depth review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because i wanted to study geography and to know about it and i had to choose this institution because in Tripura there was no good college which provide BA geography honours so i had to move to Meghalaya...it is fun to study during 5-6th semester where we have to do field study with different instruments the are so amazing and in 6th semester they take us to trekking but unfortunate we were not taken because of exams ....the Nehu exams are so hard

NEHU syllabus is quite good I should say, especially with the introduction of the NEP(New Education Policy) Well regarding the curriculum, I would say the teachers play and important part regarding that situation. However, exams or tests are becoming quite a headache for the students compared to the duration of our courses
