Remarks
I studied in CMR University bangalore. I am doing a BCA in Game and Mobile app development. The structure of the course was beautiful, faculty could've had more experience. It was great for the most part. I have passion about gaming and I want to choose a university or place which can teach me more about game development. In India many few good courses are available for gaming and app development. My interest of this field and course curriculum of the university motivates me to take admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I already told course curriculum is very good. But some faculties are not as same as I expected before taking the admission in this college. The faculties, some were worse than the students(us). Some at least had experience enough to teach us with. Some semesters were just a joke, with how much we used youtube to cover the so called syllabus.
Placement Experience
The Placements were only in the gaming industry. Nothing for app developers.They have tie up with a few companies, like GSN games and Junglee games. Most of the companies are a part of the game industry. They would schedule an interview and just inform us, if we were interested that is.
College Events
I don't think we ever had a fest pursue. The ethnic day was a thing and a game jam once a year was pretty much it. There were barely any events or exposure. The college has not organized any such event which I can tell you. Yes, the Game jam is an event which we liked.
