Srushtee Rahul Bhapkar's Review On Sir Parashurambhau College, Pune

The college is well known for its mathematics department and extra curriculars. It's one of the most renowed institution and it not only provides quality education but also helps for an all around development of its students. The staff is really good and the college ambience is very soothing.

My college became an autonomous college this year so I've faced some difficulties with the new pattern but the staff and faculty was really well,we could cope up with the syllabus and new techniques within no time. The electronics department is one of my favourites. We are also provided with many seminars,guest lectures and other workshops every now and then. We also have a huge name in the field of arts. I think my college is best suited for those who really want to experience quality education and all round development of oneself.

I'm totally clueless. But according to my seniors there's a really good placement in fields of electronics and statistics.and ofcourse there are some celebrities who have pursued their degrees from our college for example the famous actors Siddharth chandekar and mukta barve.

We do not have many fests like those of engineering or Commerce colleges but we do have an annual fest for every department. The fests are huge with quite a large crowd in the campus. One of my favourites is the literature fest as it holds a wide range of books display and interesting guest lectures and ofcourse the fun activities. We also have an annual interdistrict science festival where all the selected colleges display their best science projects and are judged by huge scientists such as S.M. chitre and Mr. Jk kshirsagar. And the most important part about the fests are, they're all conducted by respective students and not by any professionals.

I'm clueless about the loan facilities but my college provides an 'earn and learn' facility for worthy students from the backward classes.

We have a beautiful infrastructure with a large football and cricket ground, a well established gym, a preferably huge library with a great number of informative books, we've also got a huge arts hall where drama, music,dance and various artistics virtues are performed. We also have well furnished labs with every essential lab equipment for example we have a huge sitting area where we learn calculations and a rear sub classroom full of computers for programming in our statistics laboratory. My college is blessed with a beautiful infrastructure with all the necessary facilities.
