Remarks

NAAC accreditation, ranking, closer to my home, reviews from alumini's, recommendations from some professors. Engineering because it is a growing industry and has many job opportunities. College has very experienced and supportive faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was recently updated, practicals are very useful. We were always encouraged for internships by the training and placement centre. Faculties were very supportive and were very experienced. They are ready to help with doubt at any point of time. Even in the time of online teaching they put great efforts to teach efficiently

I'm a second year student so I don't have much idea about the placements. Workshops like startup training, resume building, training for interview happen during the academic year.

College Events

We had a large scale fest Alegria in which we could showcase our technical, cultural and creative skills. it takes place during the month of February. It is a five day event with competitions and events everyday. Apart from this intercollege competitions take place all round year.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

The college is excellent because there are numerous facilities available such as experienced staff members and a wide range of instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, and others. the college has good infrastructure, including a large library with nearly 6000 books and a campus with WI-FI .there are three research labs for PG students, and the college has its own licensed animal house.
