location, crowd, friends, faculty, i like traveling, wanted to meet new people, prospect of joining a prestigious college, heard good about it from friends, canteen facility, cultural festivals and more

it's pretty up to date, but there could be more practical things included in the syllabus to help us achieve a more hands-on experience of learning. too many theoretical concepts that don't do any good and which are frankly, a bit unnecessary

honestly I haven't yet had a chance to experience the placement process but from what I've heard from seniors, the placement cell does a good job in attracting well known companies to offer opportunities to graduates. even the entrepreneurial cell is capable of providing guidance to those who seek it

all the festivals are great and are pretty big since the college is well known all over the city. students get to interview for their preferred department and then work towards creating the best version of the festival each year

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

Life learning by the sea

I had applied for 3 colleges- Patkar college, Sophia and KC. I got selected in all three colleges but just because i wanted to experience travelling I decided to take KC. Eligibilty is based on your 12th marks so basically its on merit basis with minimum aggregate of 50-55% no entrance exam.
