Remarks
Ruia is a very reputed college and it's known for its teaching. It's also recognised everywhere so that was a factor too. The reason I chose this particular course is because I plan on doing marketing in the future and BMM seemed like the best option
Course Curriculum Overview
In my opinion, the syllabus is pretty outdated. It's like they keep teaching the same things year after year. I definitely don't think they're keeping up with the times. The faculty is pretty okay too. Some teachers are really nice whereas some aren't so great. When it comes to getting exposure/internships, there was absolutely no help from the college. In fact, they were against students doing internship during the course period
Internships Opportunities
I interned at Lifestyle stores as a sale intern. It was a one week internship so there was no stipend and the process was as simple as my dad being friends with the manager so it was easy for me to get an interview
Placement Experience
I don't think the college helps much with placements or job opportunities. You need to have a good network and contacts outside. It's important to have a resume and a presence on LinkedIn.
College Events
Honestly, I'm not the most social person and apart from 2-3 people, I didn't really like other people in my class so I didn't really go for any of these fests or college events but from what I've heard, they're nice but it's definitely not for me, considering the crowd and all
