RVCE is such a college where every student dream to pursue his engineering degree. it gives all the opportunities to make the best of every single being.

RVCE is located in Bangaore, Karnataka. To get admitted in this college, there are 4 ways.1. KCET held by State education board for PUC students within the state.2. DCET held by state technical edu board for diploma students.3. COMEDK held by State govt for both out of the state and state students. 4. Management Quota. I've got here by DCET and my rank was 3000. I opted this college because it has been ranked 1st in karnataka and has very good placement records.

Industrial Engineering & Management is an allied branch of mechanical engineering. The Stream deals with managing of man, machine & materials. In this stream we get to study Work study, Operations research, Operations management, Supply chain and etc. Which helps an industry to have smooth process and helps in forecasting future demand.

RVCE is known for its placement and internship. The biggest companies like GE, CISCO, TVS, TOYOTA, HONDA and many other companies provides summer internship for the students with stipend.

The placement is always been an attractive and make RVCE different from other colleges. There are more than 200 companies comes for campus recruitment program and select the candidates with their own process. Many mass recruiters like TCS, ACCENTURE, CTC, IBM etc recruits students in masses and provides package of 3.5 lpa. Other companies like CISCO, MYNTRA, PAYPAL etc gives open dream offer more than 12 lpa.

8th mile is the biggest fest celebrated by RVCE every year which will be celebrated for 4 continuous days and has all type of competitions like Sports, cultural and technical. Apart from that Each departments celebrate their own department fest like Concrete fest for civil and synergy for IEM and etc.

Fee structure is feasible and is same as other colleges in bangalore fees for COMEDK students is high compared to kcet. Students who fail in either CIE or SEE should appear for fast track where the extra fees has to be paid according to credits of the subject.

The college provides many scholarship to economically backward students the scholarship section provides continuous information about the different scholarships provided by the government the college itself provides scholarships like saarthaka and etc.

R.V. College is spread over 51.6 acres i.e., 21.30hectares. The total built up area is 85360 Sqm with all amenities. Ramps and lifts have been provided to help the differently abled and sick. 90% of the class rooms are provided with multimedia projectors and internet facility. All academic blocks have secured Wi-Fi connectivity.The college Food Court is designed to cater to 1000 students & staff, it is spread over 500 square meters. The college canteen is a place where students congregate to not only eat but exchange views. Our Food Court has a modern kitchen where food is steam cooked. The washed dishes are sterilized for hygienic serving. On campus we also have an extension food court counter.There are 4 hostels inside campus and mess food is above average.

R V College Of Engineering has a very vibrant alumni association few Distinguished Alumni includes Anil Kumble, Ashok Nayak (Chairman of HAL), Shiney Ahuja, a Bollywood actor is an alumnus of the college. Another alumnus of the college is Table tennis player Chetan Baboor, who represented India in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic. Komati Venkata Reddy and P.G.R. Scindia, politicians from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka respectively, are alumni of the college. Ashok Nayak, chairman of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and noted Kannada singer Nanditha also call the college their alma mater.

RVCE is an autonomous college affiliated to VTU, Belgaum. RV follows its own exam structure it concludes 3 CIE i.e Cumulative Internal assessment for 65 marks each and will be evaluated for 100.SEE i.e Semester End examination also has 100 marks. Final Grade will be given by taking average from both of the exams.

The most faculties of this College are holding Ph.D and some are persuing it. They believe in outcome based education and keen to discuss real life situation rather than just being focused on text book syllabus. They're very friendly in nature and help students.
