Remarks

The management is strict it will take some time to understand all the rules and abide them sometimes they are irritating and will piss you off but towards the end of the degree you will start to believe that they are for your good only some teachers are awesome and encourage innovation but majority of them will want you to stick to the syllabus and focus on your grade, which is irritating having said that, if you work hard in college and learn you will end with a good job for sure.

Entrance Preview

I got a seat in this college through an all India exam, COMEDK. I got AIR 688 I chose this college because of its good reputation, good academics and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is good 1st year is common for all the branches from next year onwards we get courses of our core branch and it covers all the important part of our branch analog electronics, digital electronics and communication over that we plethora of electives divided in two parts branch electives it has courses core to our beach as well as courses of computer Science global elective in this can choose a course of any other branch from a given set of courses(one of each branch).

Internships Opportunities

Internship experience was not that great because seldom do we have companies visiting only for internship, especially for 2nd and third years but we do have companies which come and hire many students for internship in the 8th sem, and in the 8th we have an option to choose between internship and project.

Placement Experience

4

Placement is very good especially for CS, IS and Ece and other circuit branches and can be compared to that of NITs. This can be attributed to the fact that our college is in Bangalore and has a very good reputation we have as many as 150 companies visiting our campus and many of thee offering good profile and salary.

College Events

3.5

We have rafts of event happening at in college there are clubs for all types of activities like debating, dance etc and they have their own events. Then we have our annual fest, 8th Mile, which has a very good reputation in bangalore.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Given the inflation in our country one can say that the fee is feasible, but its more towards the expensive side the annual fee is 1, 47, 000 INR above that we have to aa donation of 16, 000 towards our college trust(RSST) and it is mandatory.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans can be taken easily from various banks and we have students here who lay there fee with the help of loan and we have many types of scholarships but they are difficult to get, if you are from general category and are not outstanding in academics.

Campus Life

3

Labs are good and practicals are done seriously we have many clubs covering both co-curicullar and extra cullicular activities also we have many competition hosted by these clubs and also by the college the gender ration better compared to other good colleges and we have some hot chicks here.

Hostel Facilities

2

Food it's good but monotonous hostels are small but good hygiene and discipline are taken care of very well.

Alumni/Alumna

It's good you can keep in contact in the senior and alumni with the help of LinkedIn and other social networking sites generally the seniors are helpful.

Exam Structure

We have two types of exam internals conducted by the college thrice in a sem, of which the best two is considered external conducted by the University (VTU) at the end of the semester both external and internals have equal weight age internals total marks also have some weight age given to self study and projects.

Faculty

3

As in any other college, we have both types of faculty some are very good while some are bad but when need help you can always find a faculty who will there to help you. Having said that, I will confess that some faculty are pain in the ass and one must always avoid them.
