Remarks

Faculty at mithibai is really great, the syllabus is autonomous as well which I liked, reputation, referrals. I wanted to do humanities so mithibai seemed like the best option at that point. The proximity was also one thing I considered.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good enough, it's in detail but a lot of it felt like repetition from ISC. The faculty is good for my core subjects, psychology and economics, as far as subjects like fc are concerned I find it quite unnecessary. The elective options were a little underwhelming.

Not aware since I'm still in my second year so I don't really know much about the placements but I've heard they're good for economics.

College Events

Extracurricular are amazing. Didn't do much in first year itself but the options are plenty for committees as well as festivals. There are also blood donations drives, book collection for the underprivileged which is pretty great too

Campus Life

Great, nothing to complain about there. Classrooms are very well maintained. Cleanliness could be worked on, especially the washrooms. The canteen doesn't seem like the most hygienic place either. That's all

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

The college is excellent because there are numerous facilities available such as experienced staff members and a wide range of instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, and others. the college has good infrastructure, including a large library with nearly 6000 books and a campus with WI-FI .there are three research labs for PG students, and the college has its own licensed animal house. In addition, the teaching staff has a Ph.D.

Mithibai has great placement opportunity as there are big companies that comes for campus placement like KPMG, DELOITTE, JP MORGAN and EY. So it can give great start to students in corporate world. This is one of the reasons I chose mithibai over other colleges. Also there are so many clubs that I can be a part of to form connections, gather ideas and build leadership skills. I also applied to NMIMS, DU and I got admission there. Reason for not choosing was simple that the opportunities for me were more at Mithibai than any other college and it was a great decision overall. As I had done FYJC and SYJC from Mithibai college only so I had enrolled in the same college for Bachelor of Commerce course . I had thought for applying in other colleges but no college in Mumbai was providing good infrastructure and facilities at low fees that time.
