Wonderful college

Speaking Good first My college has everything one need to build a strong career. Now a bad thing is my college area is very small and we do nat have a green field to walk and eat lunch Just a small cricket ground a badminton court and a basketball,volleyball court and our computer lab superintendent is very arrogant and irritating fellow. He did not let us use the internet and say us to come after 4 pm to use the internet. Now i mean who the hell waits in the college till 4 pm just to use internet. I am gonna complain about his misbehaviour.

I took GGSIPU exam rank-3399 this college is a government college and best in engineering and also near my house.

Course is a bit vast because we have to study an extended topic regarding automation because my degree is mechanical and automation enginnering not just mechanical engineering. It mostly includes computer subjects. Now a days there is a big need of automatic operations to avoid manual labour. So we like our automation course.

Our College do not provide any sort of internship as it is a government college students have to go on their own to search for the company for internships.

Now coming to placement and job oppurtunities this is quite good in our college. I would say for my stream only that companies like godrej and maruti suzuki and many more come to our college and they take approx 20 % students rest 60% students are placed in infosys and TCS. So approx 80% placement is done through college.

Now a days our college provides a lot of oppurtunities to build a good cultural as well as technical environment. We have technical socities which are responsible for technical fest then we have cultural socities for cultural fest. We also celebrate freshers party and a lot of inter and intra college competetions.

Talking about the fees structure i would again say that it is a government college. So it has a very less fee as compared to a private college. A total of 35000 per year i.e. 140000 for four year is required along with 5000 security money which is refunded back after graduation.

Yes a lot of scholarships are there offered by our University like scholarships for economically backward classes and for the caste like OBC and SC,ST. Merit reward and many other scholarships are there. There is no loan facility but we get a notice about any private or government scholarship,loan up till date which we can apply from outside.

Campus Life is something i cant describe in words. It is my wonderful full of surprises and unforgettable moments which i will cherish for my whole life. Gender Ratio is a sensitive point for us because there are very few girls in our college lets say 10:90 of which 10% are girl. But in my mechanical branch there is not even a single girl. Yes there are lots of fully operating labs but a very few lab supervisors. We have labs like microwave lab which are only 3 or 4 in whole india. So we are proud to have so much engineering environment around us. Yes there are competitions Like BAHA,SUPRA,ROBOTICS,DEBATE,PAINTING etc. Some of these competitions are very cool as we get a chance to go to different state to compete with the other college. Our college gives a lot of fund for these types of competitions.

Thats a funny question because our college is not providing any hostel facilities for the outsider students. It should provide that also. Talking about the canteen its a little bit small but has a lot of items for the lunch and every item is fresh and cheap.

Now talking about Alumni i rarely see them in my college but my senior students are quite good. They provide books and question papers and help in all matters rather it be a fight with other college or in the matter of study.

Exam structure is hard to explain in 250 words. Our exam structure consist of two semester a year. So that means a total of 8 exams or 8 semesters in whole my degree. Each subjects have a credit as per its importance. So a minimum of 200 credit is required to get a graduation certificate.

Our teachers are highly qualified. They all are having degrees like M.Tech and even doctorate(Ph.d) they know everything about subject and they are very helpful when we go to them regarding their help in projects and research matter. Overall i would say these types of faculty are not available in every college.
