Remarks
I had many options available. But I chose this college because of it's academic excellence. The college is just 15km from the city centre and I could travel from my home. The placements are very good compared to other colleges. The campus is far away from the city and is in a peaceful environment. Also the fees was just as much same as the others was aslo a reason why I chose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well structured. Industrial exposure is not given enough importance. Few faculties only care for the toppers but there are also a few teachers who care about all. Mostly they try to finish the syllabus and don't care if the students are catching up or not but they are mostly available for clearing any doubts. Very little importance is given for co-curricular activities and sports.
Placement Experience
The placement cell works really hard for the students to get the best packages. From what I've heard each student from the CSE department get 3 offers. The average package for CSE student is 4.5 lakh. Nearly 93 Percent of CSE students get placed. And over all 82 percent of students get placed with civil having the least placements.
College Events
This college is mainly academically inclined so events, extracurricular activities are seen very less. We have one major fest in the month of March. The fest is 3 days long with a technical fest, a traditional day and a Dj night. This is the most awaited big event that students eagerly wait for. The technical fest is day long with students from different department showcasing their work done in the field.
Campus Life
The campus is just 13 acres with different blocks for different departments. Each block has their own seminar halls. There is a cafeteria which serves good food at reasonable price. The college ground is very compact for a college of 2000 students. The plus point is the Greenery and the calm environment of the campus. We also have separate workshops.
