Gauri Adarsh's Review On Amity University, Lucknow

After getting selected in B.I.E.T Jhansi, i did not take admission in it due to poor accommodation facilities over there. Then i decided to take admission in a private university in my own city. Then i decided to go to Amity University because I had heard from various sources that it is a good institution with good facilities. And i opted for engineering in CSE which I've always been wanting to take up.

Everything is well provided and for experience i still have to go a long way in this field since I'm just in the first year right now. But still I've been hearing from all the seniors that the exposure is good and the faculties here are well qualified.

There is an on-campus placement drive which takes place in the Amity University Noida campus and the students have to go there for sitting in the interviews. Different companies come there to take individuals. And apart from that I don't have much knowledge because I'm just in the first year right now.

There are various events constantly being organised by different departments in every field and anyone from any department can take part. There is a big cultural festival every year known as Amiphoria which goes on for 3 years and there are a lot of fun activities and events in that. Anyone from inside or outside the college can take part in the events. There is sports festival Sangathan which goes on for around a month and all the departments compete for the win. And apart from all these there are a lot of events going around throughout the year.

Yes there is a scholarship based on your board percentage which we get during the admission. The fee for the academic year is reduced according to the scholarship and which continues for the rest of the academic years according to your cgpa for each year.

The campus infrastructure is good. The campus is divided in different building for different departments. The campus is spacious and the environment is good. All the requirements of the students have been taken care of. The campus has a good WiFi connection. There is a big library in the clock tower building and there is a huge variety of books available to the students. The labs have all the necessary equipments. Overall the campus is good and there's no inconvenience.
