Remarks
I want to become a lecturer after my college degree and according to me to do degree from a national importance college is far better than doing degree from a local college. It will be easy for me to find a job after my BS-MS for the post of lectureship if I will do my degree from a research institute this was the main factor in choosing IISER Mohali for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is like this for first 2 years which are called minor years you have to study all the subjects and from third year onwards you have to choose your major subject. There are total 2 semesters in a year and in each semester there are 6 theory courses and 4 labs courses.
Placement Experience
IISER Mohali doesn't have any placement cell but there is an Ecell in the college which supports young enterpreneurs of college. It is a research institute so getting job after just MS is not favoured by students, but some students go for jobs in government sector but majority of one go for phds.
College Events
Campus life of IISER Mohali is enjoyful due to a lot of efforts put bby the students community, administration and clubs. All festivals and events are celebrated here. Student community of IISER Mohali have students from all over the India so students also get exposure of all Indian festivals while studying in the campus
