Rajiv Singh's Review On IMS Engineering College - [IMSEC], Ghaziabad

At last I would like to say that this is a very good college in NCR region and have a very good records of its placement and research work. It is known college in ghaziabad and in country for its contribution in edecation sector it is in top collegess of uptu and in top private colleges of india.every student taking admission in uptu should think about ims once.

I paseed upsee 2015 and JEE main both but took admission in ims through JEE main because i have got 24308 rank in general category in UPSEE. So i was unable to get any government college i have heard good about ims from my friends who were passed out of it.

In any engineering college Internship are the important of part any engineering student career as it gives a shape to student workshop training which makes the student prepared for engineering with the help of new improved technologies in different and efficeint way so our college has contracts with many companies for internship and training program. This causes a good placements.

As the education level of our college is outstanding its acedemic results are of top level so percentage of placement of our college is very high. Due to good technical knowledge maximum of good student gets job and placement in the coursetime or right just after graduation as B.Tech. Many companies in last month and placed a large number of students on good packages. TCS like many companies have their research center located at our college.

There are many fests which are organise every year like robotic fest,robosoccer,annual fests,which are highly appreciated by everybody. Every student participates in there fests and shows there talents. Every type of talent is promoted by faculties here college is great with its cultural and technical events and fests.

Fee structure is very normal like just a average engineering college of uptu its nearly about 120000 for first year and 93000 for other 3 years plus hostal and security charge. It is very feasible for a student for any engineering college. Hostal charge is about 70,000 rs per year.

For students with low financial condition college helps for getting education loans from various bank facilities for very excellent students college also helps by reducing the fees on the basis of their performance.also FW (fee waiver) scheme is there under university which helps students to get free education. New university schemes are also very helpful for students.

College campus is really beautiful and fresh looking. Green environment here is very beautiful. There is a large sport ground for play,gym,robotic lab,two canteens,great library. As there is co-education in college every girl and boys is treated as same. There is no bit of racism,sexism and relegious harrassment. No ragging is allowe here.

Hostels are same here as other pvt,colleges in uttar pradesh technical university(now AKTU ) it can be said that it is totally worth of its fees. Mess food is also average. There is a need of a lot of improvements in hostels fooding. There is a variety but there is also a need of quality.

I think alumni meeting are the best ways to introduce the students with new technologies,job managaments,offers and research oppurtunity and various new ideas as well. This makes student able to fight with problems which would to their in future life. Alumni meet is organised every fourth year and hundreds of alumnis share their experirences. Thus alumni meeting are organized after every fixed Time intervals.

Exam structure are very good here with great structure which provide typical knowledge about every type of syllabus. So students gets motivated and becomes ready for every type of challenges like uptu exams and other competitive exams like GATE,IES etc. Since due to hard syllabus days becomes very hectic but knowledgeful.

There is a very good and talented faculty here to support the study and research as i have heard about this college and about its teacher that was absolutely right they have a specific teaching technique which helps us a lot for students. Due to highly qualified faculty research has great opportunity here.
