It is one of the highly reputed engineering colleges of the country. It has good campus conditions and facilities. Presence of a good teaching faculty on campus. The academic structure for courses is pretty flexible as compared to most other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college provides lots of courses, adding new courses every year. A student gets opportunities to get industrial exposure twice (2 months in 2nd yr and a semester in 4th yr). The faculties are well versed with their subjects and are easily available in case of queries.
Placement Experience
Companies - Apple, Tata, Amazon, Dell, Oracle, Intel, TCS, Infosys, Google, Axis Bank, IBM, Flipkart, Facebook, Uber and many more. I don't have an experience for my batch, but placement department has done pretty well for previous graduating batch. Alumni relations play an important role in the process.
College Events
We have 3 fests ATMOS (Technical Fest in October) ARENA (Sports Fest in January) PEARL (Cultural Fest in March) Each fest lasts for 3-4 days. Participation is in large numbers. Each fest holds a large number of interesting events with prize money for winners. There are workshop during Atmos and Pearl where participants can learn new skills (technical or cultural). Atmos and Pearl have pro-shows in evenings.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are offered on merit and need(annual income of family) after every semester. Loans are available for students through SBI at low interest rates. Many students avail the loan facility
Campus Life
Our college has a separate center for recreational activities including indoor sports, gym, rooms for practice for various clubs(dance, music, dramatics, coding, etc.). Wi-Fi is provided for all hostels. There is a huge library on campus, which is divided into reading rooms, discussion rooms, also a stationery shop inside. All the books required are available. Labs are well-equipped and provide a hands-on practical experience for the students under the guidance of experienced instructors. There is a workshop on campus that helps acquire knowledge of how the different machinery works for students through a compulsory course with proper safety measures
Hostel Facilities
Some hostels have rooms for 2 and some hostels have single rooms. All the students are alloted hostels, no day scholars are allowed. Hostels are hygienic, have clean washrooms with availability of warm water. Each floor has water coolers with cold, normal and warm water available.
