Remarks
I have chosen this course because it is not less than CSE in salary packages as well as studies and knowledge. Cultural, technical and sports fests respectively which are conducted every year. Pro nights were also conducted in these fests, which were the best part of our college life. The campus is surrounded by various temples, ghats and falls, and they are the real beauty of the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable as they were teaching in a very prestigious institute. It all depends on the students, so you have to manage things accordingly. The course curriculum is relevant. Overall, it is a very good college.
Placement Experience
Approximately 70 to 80% of the students got placements while some of them opt for higher studies. This year 2 students are offered with an abroad salary package of 1.53 crore per annum. The average salary package offered is 24 LPA, which is slightly less than the CSE and MNC branches. Major recruiters are EXL, Microsoft, Oracle, Wipro, TCS, and DMT.
College Events
The infrastructure is not that great because it is too old but college and campus life is really good. The hostel infrastructure is also average but the life in hostel is good and most of the students prefer to stay in campus hostel. There are medical facilities available and canteen and mess food is of average quality.
Campus Life
The course curriculum of college is the same as that of the whole University. The faculty members are good and experienced. Apart from the regular course, there are various opportunities for other activities and fests are organised too. So there is scope for personal development but one needs to make an effort for it.
