They have specialisation in retail and I am really into retail sector and my college was providing a specialisation with practical knowledge, we have a shoppers stop retail lab in our college where we are taken to every week and are made to do activities in the lab so it is not only about the book knowledge but also the practical knowledge and how to behave, act and work in the professional world, And unlike most of the other colleges which only provide their students with internships after their final years, in our college we need to an internship of 2 months after every year from the first year and our 6th or final sem is completely internship, so we don't have to go to college. This helps us to become good enough to work in any company or even our own company right after graduation.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very good and productive as I have already mentioned above, and the subjects we have change from semester to semester and these are not just normal subjects very productive unlike any other college which prepare for industry hiring, when it comes to faculties they are top class, very professional, amazing subject knowledge, very good communication skills and they are normal lectures from the teaching profession but worked in very big companies for many years and have a lot of industry experience.
Internships Opportunities
I did a 2 month internship at max fashion (Landmark group) as a marketing manager and a visual merchandising manager, since it was my first time I didn't get any stipend but I got employee privileges for the 2 months I worked there and it was an amazing experience.
Placement Experience
Our college gets amazing placements from the biggest companies in the country from shopper stop for retail students to many more. Many of my classmates have already started their own startups thanks to the help of our lectures who encourage students to do these things.
College Events
We have a minimum of 5-6 events every year from Republic Day, independence day, symbi fest, skillotsav,etc; we have dance programs, speeches and guest lectures from the top people in every industry who are invited every weekend to our college to inspire us
Campus Life
College had an irremarkable infrastructure with a basket ball court and a tennis too, we also have a college basketball team, cricket is also played by the students during events, high speed WiFi, nothing to worry about in that area with a digital library, where high speed internet is available, very huge library with many books related to various subjects, air-conditioned.
