Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College (GGDSDC) is a college of Panjab University located in the North Indian city of Chandigarh. Established in 1973, the GGDSD college is spread over 16.5 acres of land. The college has been awarded A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore.GGDSD College ranked 82nd in the 2018 All India Ranking by NIRF, MHRD.The college is also recognized as 'College with Potential for Excellence' by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Delhi. Personally because this college offers Economic Honors to students who haven't had math as subject in +2 and also it is one of the most recognised colleges in Chandigarh under Panjab University.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are various courses offered in this colllege and also academically the books referred are also really good. The faculty is amazing. Teachers are experienced and they literally know how to teach.
Placement Experience
I don't know anything about the placements of the college as I haven't really looked into it but yes there are various opportunities for BCOM and Economics students.
College Events
It's been a year, so far the campus life has been good, not amazing. Not much events were held this year in our college. But there are different societies in our college, which is one good thing.
Campus Life
The campus is not that big, it is not really a campus tbh. But there are different blocks for different courses. There is a canteen, two auditoriums and one ground. The infrastructure is fine, it's not that upgraded. There are labs for various purposes and also there is a library.
Hostel Facilities
I lived in hostel. They really need to work on their hostel's infrastructure, facilities and food. There is no AC facility in any room. The hostel was not worth the fees but I made some really amazing friends during my hostel Life. They become your family after a point of time. So the hostel Life became fun only because of them.
