Better placements, skilled and experienced faculties, good orientation plus project fairs. Also we have an opportunistic industrial visits throughout Gujarat and offcourse outside Gujarat. Our college also conducts various seminars based on the students skill development and for GATE exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course was planned and approved under UGC and AICTE regulations. It includes the ground level knowledge of each subject they provided. Plus we have also covered many subjects based on practicals where we have got an similar industrial environment and also come to know accross the manufacturing process carried out in industries.
Internships Opportunities
When I was in my final year, we used to complete our internship as a part of an assignment for the duration of 1 month in any company related to our field. And I have done my internship in Ford Motors as a trainee technician.
Placement Experience
The placement department is quite well connected with the overall progress of student and is helpful. There are several multinational and also some international companies come to aquire skilled and knowledge worthy students from our college. As our college is well connected with many good and recognized industries mainly from Europe, students find it quite opportunistic to apply for a job.
College Events
Our college being affiliated to Gujarat Technological University has its own festival "Spark" where interdisciplinary based as well as non disciplinary and technical based competitions are held for students. Also there are sport competitions in our fest and some award distribution ceremonies.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didnt availed any loan from my college, although the students with acclaimed marks can have a chance to accueil the benefits of scholarships which are decided by the trustees and deans.
Campus Life
Our campus is well equipped with modern faculties and different disciplines. Also it has several departments and dean office. It has a reception which includes financial department where the fees workstuff is done. It also has garden on frontier side and a big ground for events and academic projects on the backend. The size of our library is pretty large which is about 100 x 40 mts and with ample book shelves and treasures of book. It also has wifi facilty available and also stationary where one can buy study materials. Our college also have different engineering labs where industry based practicals are performed.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel was well-maintained and there was also fire protection facilities available in our hostel. There was a seperate hostel for both boys and girls. Each room had a 3 bed for 3 simultaneous student with a proper bedding and study bench. The washrooms are attached with bathrooms with geyser facility available and we have a seperate water drinking facility at each floor(filters were mainly of blue star).
