Remarks
Location of the college is excellent with a good transport connectivity. Metro station is just 5 min away from the campus. A big mall is situated nearby with a movie theatre too. Campus has lots of food shops nearby with almost all types of food like north Indian, south indian, bengali, gujrati etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus is well updated. Teachers wre excellent in their subjects. We have lots of Teachers who have a Phd degree. No industry exposure though. Labs are well equipped with latest equipments. Placement cell helps a lot in finding internship.
Placement Experience
Almost all the students get easily placed with avg packages and only a few manage to get good package. All the big companies do visit the campus but hire only a few depending upon the skills of the students. Highest package was 28lpa offered by Amazon to one of the students. Placement department is excellent and helps students in each and every step. The department is working really hard to attract companies. Entrepreneurship is promoted a lot in the campus.
College Events
We have one big annual fest GATES with a footfall of more than 15,000. Big Punjabi singers perform here in the fest, details of which can be found on the website. Almost every month we have one or the other technica events conducted by different societies.
Campus Life
Campus buildings are very good and beautiful. We have a big fountain at the starting of the college campus. College doesnot have different grounds for different sports but we have a big sports complex adjacent to the campus were college students can play almost all types of sports. We have a very big library with a sitting capacity of around 150 at a time. Library has almost all the books one would require for the course. Labs are well equipped.
Hostel Facilities
College doesn't have a hostel of its own, but there are lots of PGs and independent flats available. One won't find difficulty in finding an accommodation. Rates depends upon the facilities you avail. Currently i stay in a PG and pay _5000/month as rent. Room has cooler,fan,study table, almirah, refrigerator,bed.
