BVM is Grant in aid autonomous college,oldest college in Gujarat so reputed among one of the good colleges of Gujarat. The Civil Engineering branch of this college is very famous because of which I opted this.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's good that syllabus is updated as per need but it's also very important to provide industrial exposure for students,faculties are cooperating but there are one or two exception because of which college reputation is maintained.
Placement Experience
only 30-35% of students get placement that too not big package. College is just earning money and advertising own name and doing not more than that. Alumni network will be good if college teaches student properly but the scenario is other way round.
College Events
Events are just happening because in every college they are mandatory but lack the enthusiasm, cultural fests are not properly managed as of which the students don't participate thinking it's all waste of time.
Fees and Financial Aid
MYSY,if your family income is less than 8 lacs and your boar percentile is more than 80 than you are eligible for this scholarship.
Campus Life
infrastructure is old as of which college lacks some of the advances, they take charge of everything like wifi, library, but some students are unable to avail much benefit from the college.Labs are well equipped.
Hostel Facilities
same is the case of Hostel no regular cleaning,old building with no necessary things and for every first year student they make compulsory for all students to earn money. And room mate if disturbing the rector is not even cooperating some major step is required there.
