Remarks
I came to know that in this college great companies such as Samsung, Global Logic, TCS, Yatra, etc., at a package of average 8.5 lacs per annum. Also, this college is having better infrastructure from any other colleges. Besides this, I was willing to get admission in the government added college and this is one of the best govt added college.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this college, too many guest faculty members are provided in every branch. Every time class is taken by the guest faculty. But, the permanent faculty are awesome in their style of teaching. All the permanent faculty have decent qualifications from the best universities and colleges. So, the faculty are pretty good.
Placement Experience
15-18 out of 45 students get placed every year. 4 LPA was the average package offered by the recruiters. Companies like TCS, Samsung, Infosys, and many more visit the college. The placements in HBTU in the electronics branch are very bad. Very less number of companies visited till now. Hence, the students here focused on their GATE, IES, civil services, CAT, and many other competitive exams rather than opting for a placement. So, the placements here are not up to the mark as per the college reputation. The placement of Mechanical and chemical branches are good in this college but for other branches, this is not satisfactory.
College Events
All the buildings are very old because this college is very old. There are separate labs for computer science, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and leather technology have their separate departments. The college campus is good and it could be said that it is always in under construction mode. Many more fests are hosted in the college. Cultural fest called Odyssey, a technical fest called Zest are the main fest which is conducted in the college.
