Remarks
Institute for excellence in higher education is the best college for Arts in my state and also was near to where I reside. Also, it had the subjects I wanted to take. It had good reviews. And also the teachers and staff is really good too. Facilities are available.
Course Curriculum Overview
Over-all experience was good. Syllabus could have been more updated. There was not a propper practical lab for geography (which was my subject) but the department had enough to get through the exam. Faculties were well educated and professional but didn't connected with the students on personal level. Library was good, could have more books though.
Placement Experience
College held a fair which included few companies. But as an art student, I didn't get benefited. Every company there was to recruit science or commerce students. There were few students who got selected for the job, but switched afterwards. I would say placements were more beneficial to BSC students.
College Events
College conducted fest annually. And departmental fest too. It gave chance to everyone interested to participate in any kind of activities they liked. Fest included competitions related to Sports, painting, dance, singing, Rangoli, braid, henna,etc making. It held audition for dance and singing and plays. Extra curricular activities area of the college was overall good but considering the amount of study required, it was not possible for students to take part in as many activities as they wanted to.
