Remarks
My cousin is already studying in IISER Pune and my dream was also to get admission in IISER Pune but unfortunately IISER Pune was not offered to me and I get IISER Mohali in floating option. IISER Mohali was my 2nd preference after IISER Pune.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is fine and is according to the latest time and is also changed with changing time and according to students need. Faculties are intelligent and friendly and always ready to help. Academics is fine
Placement Experience
There is no such placement cell in the college. Students mainly go for pHd in some of the best universities across the world like MIT, Harvard, Yale, University of Cambridge, Max Planck etc _ Some students also go for industries job_
College Events
There are near about 20 clubs in IISER Mohali such as Manthan, Aashke, BDF, Curie etc which organize weekely events and competitions. All national and local festivals are celebrated in the college. Valentine day is also celebrated. Our annual fest is INSOMNIA.
Campus Life
Campus is spread in near about 140 acre in the beautiful city Mohali with a lot of greenary and peaceful environment. Sports facilities are good and every sports stadium is there. Every student have their individual own wifi key which they can access anywhere in the college.
Hostel Facilities
Ya I am living in hostels as it is mandatory to live in hostel in any IISER. Hostels are large and spacious. Every student have their individual room except for first 2 years where they have to share room with one of their batchmate.
