Remarks
It is just 15km away from my house so I can easily go to my home during weekends and holidays. Also if I want I can go to Home after classes and come back in the night or morning. My parents can easily visit there and provide me some necessary things whenever I required. The closeness of college to my home drove me to take admission in IISER Mohali.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is regularly updated and is according to the time. Faculties are very knowledgeable and helpful and easy to approach. Academics marking is little bit hard. My first semester quantum Chemistry course was having hardest marking I have ever seen full marks for complete correct and no marks for partial correct means no step marking. So these type of marking should be not there
Placement Experience
There is an Entrepreneur Cell in our college and honestly it is doing nothing to promote entrepreneurship in the college. This club is there just to use money of college for personal purposes. College doesn't have any placement cell and will not be made in upcoming future as administration of IISER Mohali is bull shit.
College Events
Foundation day of college is celebrated every year in which participants include students from nearby schools. Cultural fest INSOMNIA is held in the month of February March in which participants from nearby colleges participate. All national festival are celebrated.
Campus Life
Campus is large full of buildings and greenary. Buildings include administration department, lhc, animal Facility, caf, academic block,library, hostels, shopping Complex etc. Individual sports stadium for every sports. There is suiting capacity of around 1000 audience in cricket and football stadium.
Hostel Facilities
There is compulsory to live in hostels if it was not compulsory I will daily go to my home as it is just 15km away. Hostels are fine, spacious and clean. Cold water is available for drinking and both cold and warm water is available in bathrooms for bathing or washing clothes.
