Remarks
Personal interest in research and some guidance from my teachers' motivated to me to get admission in IISER. My aim was to get admission in IISc but I was not able to qualify for the exam so I choose IISER Mohali over other IISERs due to it's nice location near beutiful city Chandigarh.
Course Curriculum Overview
All faculties are scientists working on their specific fields from their research time they give some time to teach us. They are very engaging and always ready to help. You can visit any lab and talk with professor and if you are interested in his/her work you can ask him to allow you to do work in their lab under some PhD student who are already working there.
Placement Experience
You can't hope direct placement after your college degree as it provides you base for research and provides you opportunities to study in some of the best universities all over the world. Some jobs you can do after your college degree is some industries jobs, teaching jobs and government jobs.
College Events
The one thing which I have like the most is the organising of DJ night every month which are very useful to get rid of study stress due to tight study schedule. Insomnia is the annual cultural fest in which celebraties are invited and some engaging and fun activities are organised.
