Remarks

I have lived in Mumbai all my life. I have travelled in the peak hour traffic and always wished if there could a place to escape from this. I was elated when I found out that I had converted IIM Ranchi, because of it's location. Surrounded by greenery all around, with waterfalls and dams as tourist spots, I am very excited to be on campus amid everything that I have immensely missed. I am a computer engineer and wanted to work as Business Analyst which is why I opted for the course. However, seeing the plethora of exciting opportunities which I never came across, I aim to find and pursue my interest.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very enlightening. It is very different from what we have studied so far. There is a lot of application based learning through case studies which also help us understand group dynamics. Though the COVID situation is challenging for the faculty, they have successfully adapted to the change.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 1010000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies like JPMC, HUL, etc visit our campus. The average package is 15.02 LPA. Domestic highest package reached 26 LPA. There are also opportunities for international placement which was the highest in the year 2019 at 58.11 LPA.

College Events

After working for 2 years, it was very refreshing when I joined IIM Ranchi. I got a lot of opportunities to replenish my interests by whole heartedly taking part in the Management Challenges organised by our seniors.

In this college there are so many courses you have in your personal interest the curriculum and exam structural is great but since this policy affiliated to Ranchi University the exams are taking too much time. Srinath university is a good college overall but in developing stage. It will be very better in upcoming years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc chemistry is a very diverse course in which onr can go in teaching line to M.Sc in biochemistry to become medical college professors and also can go in technical line like metallurgical department and others. Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is average over all. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Tata motors, Tata steel, Nathcorp etc. The highest package is 6.5L and average is 3.5L as per profiles offered. 60-70 % students getting placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
