Remarks
Indian Institute of Management Ranchi was established in 2009 and since then it is doing wonders. The students of IIM Ranchi have outshined in all areas be it academics or extra-curriculars. The improving numbers in the placement reports of the institute tells us about its progress and the dedication of its students. In very small span of time IIM Ranchi has created a name for itself that nobody else can. According to the rankings, the institute comes in top 20 b-schools of the country. Moreover, it's the core values of the institute- Humility, Honesty and Hard work for individual and corporate success that differentiates it from all other b-schools. I opted for MBA because of the holistic development that the course offers. And in changing times, the world requires managers who understands all areas of the organisation and can work in integration with other and that's what MBA teaches.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of MBA is very well structured. When you join the course in the first trimester you have courses to bring the diverse set of students on the same page. You have assignments and projects that forms a most important part of your learnings. In the second year you choose your specialization (major and minors) and then continue your education in them.
Placement Experience
The Corporate Relations and Placement Committee of the institute works really hard throughout the year to get the best job roles for the students. It gives me immense pride in stating that the batch of 2020 saw 100% placement with companies like flipkart, amazon, icici bank, JPMC, Maruti Suzuki coming on the campus for placement.
College Events
The campus life at IIM Ranchi is filled with fun and lots of activities. The various committees of the college put their whole heart into organising different activities for the students from celebrating festives to having sports events IIM RAnchi have it all.
