It's a research degree, we get opportunity to do internships under professors, afterall we do pure science,get to know. how this world works. or logic behind everything.nd in the 5th year we have to write a thesis (book about our research). a total year for research. that what makes it different from odinary BSc.etc
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is quite good. I got to learn many interesting thing. faculty is really helping and friendly. course syllabus covers subject which we choose (after 3rd sem).we get opportunity to focus on one discipline.
Placement Experience
Normally people go in are and D.but majority of people aim fir PHD in foreign and indian institutes.nd then after phd. you can get a job as a prof in some university or can join a research lab.
College Events
IISER pune is like hub of cultural events. in some cases there are multiple events occurring in a single day. we get many opportunities to show creativity nd talent. but there is no compulsion on anything.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is AWESOME. some times i feel like I am in some American university. wifi gives good speed. food is great(I know. its a rare thing you will hear from a hosteler).Non veg is also available. nd the menu is big. we have lot of options to choose from
Hostel Facilities
Hostel looks like a 3 star hotel. full sized cupboards are there. proper ventilation. nd no need to mention. the weather of Pune is just classic.we also get a good view from the window because there are many small mountains around.
