Remarks
This college is alloted to me based on my IPU CET Exam. Although, the college is small but it is good and provides a lot of facilities from AC class rooms to Basket ball ground, gym etc. The main factor of choosing this college is that it is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University
Course Curriculum Overview
We have 2 semesters in a year and 2 marks out of 30 marks in each semester and the remaining 15 marks. And we also have two practical exams, one of which is taken by our college teacher and the other by an external examiner at the end of the semester. Finally we have the final test. Some industrial tours are organized by the concerned department which helps the student to get better knowledge in his field.
Placement Experience
Placement in DTC is average compared to other colleges in IP University. DTC students are placed in reputable institutions. 2 students have been placed at Microsoft and many of them are about to start their careers with Amazon. For the past two years we have had an internship fair that helps students get an internship before they get a placement. DTC has an annual alumni meeting here where alumni go to college and offer any help to students. Also our college alumni were very helpful.
College Events
We have a lot of cultural and technical communities in the campus where both boys and girls work in equal proportions. Also, the number of boys in the engineering curriculum is lower than other courses. In the Cse branch this ratio is 70-30. Apart from this we have many sporting activities like Annual Volleyball Tournament, Annual Sports Festival and Annual Table Tennis Tournament.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, Hostel facilities are quite average. I would suggest its better to take PG near the college. The food is OK but the rooms are very small and untidy. There restriction of timing for entry and exit especially for girls.
