Remarks
I chose this course because of interest and depth it has with respect to knowledge and hands-on in mechanical engineering. Maybe labs facilities and infrastructure would be one area to improve. The college is famous for its events and fest. It has a good surrounding and also famous for scholarship for reserved students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers and faculty members were very much helpful in mechanical engineering department. They were friendly with students and highly qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was relevant to an extent however not sure if that makes students industry ready as that is totally dependent on each individual.
Placement Experience
40-50% of the students were placed in our course for my year. The highest salary offered would be 7 LPA and the lowest would be 2 LPA. TCS, Tech Mahindra were top recruiters for my batch. No specific roles offered however the recruiters hired everyone as trainees.
College Events
Above average facilities and infrastructure available for my course/department. Separate library facilities available for Mechanical engineering department. Wi-Fi was available when I was studying not sure about now. Classrooms for Mechanical engineering department were new at that time.
Campus Life
The library is huge and has all the important books required. However, there were few problems with respect to the labs and Wi-Fi. The internet access wasn't provided to the students and the net was pretty slow too. So internet facilities can be improved. Classrooms were pretty decent. The food in the canteen is not hygienic. This really has to be improved. I'm not sure about the hostel food as I was a day scholar.
