The college is one of the highest ranked medical colleges in India. It is highly reputed since a long time. It is associated with the largest government hospital in Pune which makes it a great place to learn for the medical undergraduates.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum followed in the college is the same as decided by the central body. It is the same all over India in medical colleges. The syllabus and curriculum is updated as per updates from the central body. Yes, enough exposure is provided to learn and understand the concepts and the practical work as well. The faculty is really good in almost all the subjects.

College Events
The annual fest is called Vedant. It is held at the time of ganesh chaturthi. Its a 4 day fest. The sports component goes on for a longer duration than 4 days. Colleges from all over Maharashtra come and take part. Technical fests like the annual conference called Respirare is a huge success and magnet for UGs and PGs.
Campus Life
Sports facilities are fine. Wifi is not provided to the students. They can install their own at the hostels. Size and capacity of the library needs to increase. Labs and it's equipments are all in good order.
Hostel Facilities
The boys hostel room is sharing till the final year. In first and 2nd year there are 4 people in a room. After that, it is reduced to 2 or 3 according to the choice. Single rooms are not available in the boys hostel.
