Remarks

Teachers guidance, personal interest, friends and family advice all were responsible for me to get admission in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali and I choose IISER Mohali due to it's nice location near Himachal Pradesh.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are top notch and some of the best scientist of India. Their way of teaching is very different than tose of school teachers. They explain every topic in such a way that students develop thinking ability in them to think more about a particular topic or field.

You have job opportunities in teaching area, government sector and Research department of various industries.

College Events

A lot of festivals and events are celebrated throughout year in the college. Regular quizzes and competition are organised by various clubs. Inter and Intra IISER sports meet are organised every year.

Campus Life

Library is very well spaced and modern. A lot of books with computer facility is availability. Labs have all the modern instruments and high tech facilities. Sports facilities are very good. Wifi is of good speed.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I am staying in hostel. I have get shared room for my first and second year and after that a single room will be alloted to me. Hostels have canteen facility. Warm water is available in bathrooms. Bathrooms are very clean, both Indian and Western toilets are in hostel.

Nice collage for middle class students

Placement Experience:

onwards 4th semester students are eligible for internship and after 6th semester students are eligible for placements and companies which repeatdly visits are collage are TCS, infosys, LNT, mother dairy, IBM etc. Average package of this collage is nearly 4 lakhs per annum and placement percentage is around 70 percent.

A perfect place for growth and learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the curriculum is well-designed and covers all the important MLS subjects with both theory and practical training. It helps us understand real-world lab work and prepares us for future studies or jobs. The curriculum is good, but adding more practical sessions and updated lab equipment would make it even better. Exams are held regularly, and their difficulty level is moderate. Students can easily pass if they study on time, though practical exams need more focus.

Great College for Medical Students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly I was not sure if i should do i MLS course, but after I came to this college , they cleared my vision. I don't have enough knowledge about this specific field, the montors guided me & helped me to choose the best. Now I am very happy and satisfied as being the part of MLS department. I will become a Lab technician after this course. The lab technicians plays a very important role in healthcare department. This college provides internships to practice everything. They also conducts job fairs for students such as" Umeed Job Fair "which was conducted recently in the college. The 1st year is basically is theoretical & practical knowledge, after that in 2nd or 3rd year, students gets placements.

I am a first year student and I don't know much about placement. But I did heared they provide placements and company do visits eg fortis.they do claim to provide packages around 2.5 LPA to 7 LPA. My plan after getting a degree is to study masters and then get a job in a respective it company

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .
