The college is perceived as one of the best new IIMs in the corporate world. As a student driven college, it provides tremendous opportunities for personality development. There are numerous clubs, committees, societies and special interest groups which one can choose according to their inclination. The pedagogy is at par with premier business schools and includes case studies, group assignments and quizzes. They provide students with many opportunities like case study competitions, live projects among others. The subjects taught introduce to various streams and help in choosing the major in second year by giving insights. The professors are very knowledgeable and teach the subjects fluidly. Also, placements provided are decent. They are wide in variety and many companies come up during placement season. MBA is mainly focused on two factors: networking and practical skill development. With a separate human resources course in MBA, the increased number of students result in a larger network in corporate world. It also provides many opportunities to test your skills and improve upon them. I also chose the college as it has an advantage with its location. Many mining and steel companies are located nearby and visit the campus for placement along with other companies.
